We are located less than a five-minute walk from Vermont Academy. Vermont Academy is a private, co-ed high school with 210 students from the area, as well as many states across the U.S. and many countries around the world.

The Village of Saxtons River (in the town of Rockingham) is a quaint village with a country store, a post office, a covered bridge and a Historical Society museum, and is near two golf courses, apple picking, blueberry picking, cross country and down hill skiing, fishing, and the scenic villages of Chester, Grafton, Bellows Falls and Weston, Vermont, and Walpole and Westmoreland, New Hampshire.

Bellows Falls is five miles east of Saxtons River on route 121 and has restaurants, shops, bank, movie theatre, antiques, art galleries and concerts.

CANOEING — Connecticut River & Lake Warren are enjoyable waters to canoe.

HIKING TRAILS — Some trails at Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Fall Mountain in North Walpole, NH (great view)
